May Update

Printing is underway in Latvia, though we faced a small delay due to a supply issue with the bookmark ribbon, now resolved. The stock will leave Latvia at the start of May.
The UK stock (for everywhere outside the Americas) will then begin distribution in mid-May, so I'm hoping a good percentage of backers will get their copies before the end of May, though some locations will go into June.
The US stock (also for Canada and Central/South America) should land before the end of May, depending on whether there are any backlogs at customs. Early June should be a safe estimate for when books start landing with backers, but I'll update when the stock lands. Tariffs shouldn't cause any major issues, as we're manufacturing in the EU and books should be exempt anyway. Either way, this is something for me and my distribution partners to worry about, and it won't affect backers directly.
I've sent out drivethrurpg pdfs for those who filled out the survey. Itch copies are coming soon, but I need to wait for itch to approve before I can send them. Shouldn't be more than a few days.

Charging Cards and Print Update

Hi All,
I've begun to charge cards on backerkit for shipping, addons, and pre-orders. If your payment fails you'll receive a message detailing how you can update your payment details. This will then attempt the charge again, otherwise I'll manually charge it next week on Monday.

The printers are sending me the final digital proofs to approve today, and everything is still looking on track for fulfilment in May. I'll be in touch when the books are on the water to give a more accurate ETA.

Locking Orders, Charging Cards, and Print Update

Bit of business to go through today, so I'll get straight to it.
Livonia Print have the final print files, paper is secured, and printing is all looking to be on track. They'll have a more precise ETA for me closer to the time but we're still aiming for distribution in May.
I'll be locking backerkit orders on Monday 31st March so if you want to make any changes to your order, payment settings, or shipping address, then make sure you do so before then. If you need to review payment information, you can return to your survey by clicking the link in your survey email or requesting your survey link on the Backerkit page at https://mythicbastionland.backerkit.com/
Cards will then be charged on Monday 7th April, which will appear on your bank statement as BASTIONLAND PRESS LTD. If any issues arise with your payment you’ll receive an email letting your know to correct your payment information. This is also when I'll link any remaining backerkit orders to dtrpg or itch as requested on this form https://forms.gle/3BrcmiSXfnZYWC9x9
So as a quick print timeline summary:
- 31st March - Orders Locked
- 7th April - Cards Charged and final dtrpg/Itch copies sent out
- May - Distribution Begins

PDF and Print Update

Thanks for all the warm responses to the final PDF, it's amazing to see people enjoying it already.
There was an error with the naming in the original Backerkit download distribution, so you'll have spotted a few duplicate files in your initial email. I've cleaned this up so now so it should be clearer in there.
If you backed on Kickstarter and filled in the survey then you should receive access to the file on dtrpg.
I've also updated the PDF on backerkit, itch, and dtrpg to fix a few small issues:
- File metadata is now correct
- Travel page is now rendering text correctly
- Oddpocrypha intro page now has an extra piece of art
I've started the ball rolling with the printers, and they're going ahead with ordering paper, getting things ready for printing. They'll have a more accurate timeline for me soon, but I'd estimate we're looking at print copies landing with backers in May. I'm being very cautious in giving out firm estimates until I've had a more concrete timeline from the printers and shipping, so I'll keep you updated on that as I hear more from them.
It's a very good feeling to have things moving forwards! Expect another update when I have more information from the printers.

Artwork Complete! Moving Ahead

I've just had the final art pieces over from Alec, so we're ready to move forward!
Thanks again for everybody's patience during these delays. From now I'll be able to give a much more accurate and reliable timeline.
Tomorrow, Tuesday 11th March I'll send out the final pdf to backers, afternoon GMT so I can make some final checks. No big changes from the last pdf, just the missing artwork. This should be the final digital version of the game. I'll also include a version without the page texture background.
I'm in touch with the print house to let them know we're ready to go ahead with printing, so when they give me a new timeline I'll pass that on to you all right away.
And now we can finally enjoy all those pieces together.
Expect another update once I hear back from the print house.
