After reviewing the artwork progress timeline with Alec and the print house, combined with my planned holiday in October, there's going to be another delay to release to make sure that I'm around to ensure that printing and distribution both run smoothly. 

Based on the current timeline the stock will be arriving into my distribution centre just before Christmas, so that adds another short delay before we can feasibly start shipping them out to you. 

So we're now looking at:
Final PDF in Late October
Print copies shipping in January

Sorry again to bring the bad news. 

I'll continue to keep you updated on this, and here's an extra large Knight artwork preview to enjoy in the mean time. I'm still wowed by everything that Alec is producing and I know that the final book is going to look fantastic.

Hi All,

I've spoken with Alec and we've put together a more structured schedule for completion of the remaining artwork. After checking in with the print house this would push fulfilment back to a period when I'll be outside of the country for a few weeks, unable to manage things, so that creates a further delay I was really hoping to avoid.

So looking at this all together I want to set a realistic target for fulfilment, rather than risk further disappointment. 

With that in mind, the new estimates are:
PDF in Late September
Print in November

It's devastating to delay fulfilment again, and I'm very sorry that we've slipped further behind the planned schedule. I appreciate how patient you've all been, and this whole experience is going to change the way that I plan future projects to avoid it happening again. 

On a brighter note, I have some artwork to share.

Thanks again for backing the project, and I really can't wait to get it onto your tables!

July Update and Art Preview

Hi All,

The artwork is still coming in at a good rate. There's no big change, but based on the latest conversations with the printers I think a good safe estimate for shipping is now August for the final PDF and September for the print version. As always, I'll keep you updated as we get closer to these. 

Here are a few new pieces to enjoy in the mean time.

No other news to share! Things are moving nicely, and I hope everybody is still enjoying the pre-print PDF.

We have the art piece for the back cover!

Lots of little details in there.

The real-life issues that caused the initial artwork delay are behind us now, so I'm expecting to see the new pieces pouring in at a good rate.

With a better picture of the impact of this delay I think the final PDF is likely to be released in July. I'm still striving to get those print copies sent out in August, but there's a chance this could run into September now. 

I appreciate this is a four month delay from the original Kickstarter projection, and I'm sorry that estimate turned out to be so inaccurate. The delay came from something we couldn't really have foreseen, and I'm so grateful that everybody has been so understanding about it. Rest assured I'm still doing everything I can to get this book out as soon as possible and for future projects I'm going to allow a more generous contingency period. 

As I've said previously, the backerkit will remain open right up until just before shipping, so you'll have plenty of notice before then if you need to change your order or delivery details.
